Light and summery, the new V-Neck Shell is a classy addition to jeans or dress pants. Shell is created from Armstrong Textile BARK fabric which has been woven and then felted to look delicate with its distinctive openings but is actually is long-wearing because of the felting process. Designed in lightweight soft 100% alpaca in our new spring/summer shades, the sleeveless Shell can be worn with a tee under it or as is for a dressier look.

Put on the new Cowl-Neck Top when you feel like wearing casual elegance itself. Created from Armstrong Textiles’ BARK woven and then felted fabric in soft and light alpaca, the Cowl-Neck Top is designed by Kate Delmage, a Halifax fashion designer. A hidden zipper is at the back seam and princess front seams make for a flattering look. Each garment has separately-woven scarf that is arranged and sewn in soft drapes at the neck for that beautiful classic cowl neckline.Shown here is the pewter/hot pink BARK Scarf.

A beautiful statement in soft luxurious alpaca designed by fashion designer, Kate Delmage, the Cowl-Neck Dress is elegant simplicity. Created from Armstrong Textiles’ signature woven BARK fabric, this sleeveless dress has a light and lacey openwork appearance but because of the felting process will stand the test of time. The cowl-neck scarf is woven separately and then arranged to fall in soft drapes at the neck. Fully lined and featuring princess seams for a flattering look, the dress is custom-made to our clients’ specifications.

The silky feel of the 100% natural alpaca yarn has been woven into a lacey openwork pattern, delicate yet sturdy because of the felting process. This signature fabric was created by a special finishing technique developed by Armstrong Textiles and the apparel design was by Kate Delmage. Cropped and a little sassy, the BARK Poncho always gets a second look.

A little bit of the edgy side, the BARK Tunic is another great new piece made by Armstrong Textiles with apparel design by Kate Delmage. The Tunic is slim-fitting, sleeveless, and mid-thigh in length; it looks fabulous with a belt! Woven and then felted for long-wear, the Tunic is created from soft, luxurious alpaca in the company’s signature openwork pattern. The gently undulated front edges add a distinctive character to this modern piece of apparel—putting the Tunic over a pair of pants and a simple t-shirt will make your outfit sizzle!

The versatile BARK Jacket, designed by fashion designer, Kate Delmage, is created with silky soft 100% natural alpaca fabric. Our signature fabric woven and then felted in the Armstrong Textiles workshop for long-wear, this summer jacket has been re-designed with a trimmer front opening and ¾ length sleeves. The sleeves have a cuff, side slits for comfort, a length that comes to the upper thigh, and beautiful undulating front edges. BARK Jacket is casual elegance - a practical length for working and driving yet expresses the hand-crafted textures Armstrong Textiles is known for. Also looks great belted!
